Meet The Principal Consultant

Gautam Singhani

Gautam Singhani is a NYC-based Line Producer & Post Production Supervisor, with 10+ years of experience across the Film & TV industry, he has earned a reputation as the go-to guy for getting things done with meticulous attention to detail and rigorous commitment to quality. Working with companies such as Story Syndicate, Radical Media, and networks like HBO, Apple, Hulu, Universal Pictures, and Amazon Studios, Gautam has experience in every aspect of the production pipeline, from development, to post-production, through to distribution and network delivery. 

Having been deeply involved in crafting post-production workflows, Gautam utilized his technical problem solving skills across a variety of projects such as re-mastering LGBTQIA+ Filmmaker Micheal Rice’s award winning film, BLACK AS U R, Executive Produced by Billy Porter. Other notable credits include: Oscar® nominated short documentary, THE BARBER OF LITTLE ROCK, Emmy-nominated HBO documentary, ALLEN V. FARROW, and National Geographic’s BAFTA-nominated Documentary BECOMING COUSTEAU.

A proud member of the Producers Guild of America (PGA) and the Post New York Alliance (PNYA), Gautam works with emerging independent filmmakers through Gotoma, providing one-on-one consultations to teach about the business behind the filmmaking process and how to find success in the film industry.

Gautam Singhani - Bio

Gautam Singhani is a NYC-based Line Producer & Post Production Supervisor for scripted and unscripted media, working with companies such as Story Syndicate, RadicalMedia, and networks like HBO, Apple, Disney+, Hulu, Universal Pictures, and Amazon Studios.

After being selected for the WarnerMedia / HBO Post Production Supervisor training program, Gautam was able to take his skillset to the next level and help deliver notable projects such as the Oscar® nominated short documentary, THE BARBER OF LITTLE ROCK, Primetime Emmy-nominated HBO documentary, ALLEN V. FARROW, and National Geographic’s BAFTA-nominated Documentary BECOMING COUSTEAU.

Beyond managing productions and post-supervising, Gautam has been a consultant on many films, most recently serving as an Executive Producer for the socially poignant documentary BLACK AS U R from LGBTQIA+ filmmaker, Micheal Rice. He is passionate about helping emerging filmmakers break into the industry and is always looking to offer his consulting services in building detailed budgets, investor-ready pitch decks, or providing strategic advice tailored to the evolving landscape of Film & TV.

A proud member of the Producers Guild of America (PGA) and a long standing member of the Post New York Alliance (PNYA), Gautam is eager to collaborate with other film professionals and bring to life visionary ideas around social justice, equality, and empathy. Through his own Consulting Practice, Gotoma, Gautam provides opportunities to talk one-on-one to anyone looking to learn about the business behind the filmmaking process and get professional guidance on their next big project.
